Let’s discuss Valentine’s Day wedding news and views for 2019 (Part Two). We all know that Valentine’s Day is the most romantic day of the year to say, “I Do.” For those couples on a budget, this is is a perfect choice since there are Valentine’s Day wedding specials throughout the country. Getting married in New Mexico on Valentine’s Day 2019 (Free nuptials):
Free Valentine’s Day weddings have been offered at the 9th Judicial District for the past eighteen (18) years in Albuquerque, New Mexico. There will be refreshments and decorations for each couple and they can say their own unique vows.
The judges there are looking for a refreshing break from the humdrum of everyday court activities. Presiding over Albuquerque weddings will be a refreshing break from hearing about broken relationships. Bravo New Mexico!
Cleveland, Ohio and Free Valentine’s Weddings:
The Cleveland Municipal Court will be performing free ceremonies on February 14, 2019. They are partnering with the Tower City folks to conduct the nuptials. This is the eleventh (11th) year this activity has been celebrated on Valentine’s Day. The couple must have a valid marriage license and pay an additional $20.00 for their marriage certificate to the Cleveland Clerk of the Court. Valentine’s Day wedding contest at the Empire State Building:
Who wouldn’t want to tie the knot in beautiful New York City at the top of the Empire State Building? This was announced on Dec. 5th and was available for couple entries. This will be the 25th Anniversary of Valentine’s Day contest (their Silver Anniversary).
The lucky couple will be wed in the world famous Observatory on the 86th floor this February 14, 2019. The bride will wear a dress from Kleinfeld ’s bridal salon and receive another dress as well from the salon. They will honeymoon in New York, flown there after receiving two round trip tickets. Their honeymoon night will be celebrated in the Grand Hyatt New York which will include a continental breakfast and an additional honeymoon package. A Valentines Day nuptial in Largo, Florida
Couples have registered this year to share their vows with fifty other couples will say “I Do” in the beautiful wedding garden of the Florida Botanical Gardens in Largo, FL. A ceremony will be performed for each couple and they will be serenaded by a Barbershop Quartet. They will celebrate with wedding cake and refreshments following the ceremony. Las Vegas weddings on Valentines Day:
This year we are expecting up to 1,000 excited couples to schedule their wedding ceremonies in our city. After all, Las Vegas is known far and wide as the marriage capital of the United States. Las Vegas (Clark County) is looking to unite over 80,000 couples in 2019 and it is easy to get married here. Learn more about Las Vegas weddings.
Rules for Las Vegas Weddings:
- You must be 18 years of age to be married without the parent’s consent
- You cannot get married around the clock (all nuptials must be scheduled)
- The marriage license bureau is 8 am to midnight. No overnight arrivals.
- Las Vegas weddings can run from $150 to $10,000 or more.
- Wedding chapels are normally very crowded on Valentine’s Day
