Wedding planners make dreams come true:
Last time you stopped by, we discussed the importance of having a wedding planner you can rely on to deliver what you are expecting. It is so important to know how much a reliable wedding planner can truly provide to a couple. BobbyMark’s Designs is well established in Asheville, North Carolina.
Knowing which caterer, officiant, and entertainment to trust is close to priceless. For many people attempting to plan a wedding without the help of a professional, price speaks volumes. Most people will want a good deal, but some people only inquiry to the most affordable vendors.
Of course, staying in budget is part of the wedding planner’s requirements, but quality is the first priority. Clients will always know who we recommend most. Throughout the years, we have gained experience to guide us which ultimately delivers a seamless, memorable event to you, the client.
Eye-catching confections:
The cake has always been a traditional focal point for weddings and events. However, funky trending cakes are not all white or cream colored. Buttercream and fondant are manipulated into ways we would have never though possible.
Cakes are iconic, so wedding planners recommend going big and bold. Cakes are adorned with real gold flakes and painted with real gold icing, all edible of course. This is can be used in a modest way, or it blow your guests away with dazzling gold elements.
Imagine this intricately detailed cake. A crowd pleaser for all ages is the Marie Antoinette-esque 6 tiered cake. As the top layer, a sweet hand-painted bird cage is solely made out of cake and sugar decorations. Light blue, teal, navy blue, peach, yellow, and green all come together in a scene of floral and appliqué.
This 1700s French provincial cake is for brides and grooms of all ages and backgrounds. It is classy and elegant. If done correctly, you will keep looking and finding a new detail you did not notice before. It is the best sort of overwhelming awe because you get to eat the work of art!
Mini cakes, not cupcakes, are making an appearance to those who put this at the top of their priorate list. As it is not for the low budget wedding, this trend will not be seen everywhere. However, if you love the look of perfectly imperfect buttercream cakes with effortless sprigs of rosemary, lavender, and lemons wedges on top, this sweet delight is just your thing.
Speak to your planner about this eclectic, yet costly, trend. These two-inch layers can be uniformed flavors or all completely different. They are so cute because they tend to lean over, similar to the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Powder sugar dusted on top with your choice of florals makes this treat practically jump into your stomach.
Making an entrance:
Although brides and grooms should make the most memorable entrances, guests should feel a sense of welcome as well. Whether you want the moment to hit guests while they enter the ceremony or the reception, the moment should be there at some point. At least a few guests travel to each wedding because most likely, not every single person lives close by.
Because of this, it is awesome to make your guests feel that special moment. It goes without saying, the brides and grooms should too. Incorporating a “larger than life” floral installation is a definite wow factor. Flowers can truly transport guests into another world while making a space smell divine and feel romantic. With influence coming from the royal wedding, floral installations will be many girl’s and boy’s dreams this year.
Ceremonies taking shape:
Although ceremonies have been in the same set-up or layout for hundreds of years now, couple are switching things up. Couples are choosing to throw guests off for the better. Chairs can be placed in rows of a winding pattern.
The couple can choose to stand on a bohemian rug, Native-American wrap, the floor, or round, acrylic “stages”. There are a plethora of options.
