BobbyMark’s Designs, established in 2008, is the successful merging of two talented, experienced, visionaries. They are Bobby Hill and Mark Arrington, wedding and event designers based in Asheville, NC. This dynamic duo combines strong customer service, with a cooperative method, maintaining notable relationships with vendors and clients. Their dedication, and creativity ensure the execution of your event is impeccable.
About Bobby
A native of Asheville, NC, Bobby Hill spent his previous career traveling between the east and west coasts, while relentlessly pursuing his love of design.
His experience working with Fortune 500 companies instilled in him the importance of placing a priority on his customers, who he truly sees as the heart of his business.
As a result of his passion and impeccable team management skills, he rose to a position of leadership, responsible for over 500 employees and more than $30 million in regional sales.
It was in South Beach Miami, FL, that he expanded his design experience and honed his skills. During this process, he worked with several designers in the successful execution of both commercial television broadcasts and business designs.
Equipped with a solid background in team management and design concepts of color, texture, and placement, he returned to Asheville to create his own company, with a focus on successful event planning and stunning floral design.
Soon after, he became the area’s go-to event designer and is in high demand for notable events ranging from high-profile fundraising galas to celebrity weddings.
About Mark
A native of Charlotte, NC, Mark Arrington spent over a decade refining his craft in the South Beach, Miami hospitality and special event scene.
As co-owner of BobbyMark’s Designs, he conveys a high level of energy he channels into creativity and design. When asked, he’ll tell you he has a genuine love for this business and industry, because it’s always interesting and exciting even when he’s working under pressure.
Although he gains ideas from designers such as Calvin Klein, Tom Ford, and Armani, he also draws inspiration from the blend of Asheville’s Art Deco architecture and beautiful natural surroundings.
Mark likes to incorporate his love for modern, contemporary style into the events he designs but is quick to point out that, above all, he first gets to know his clients personally.
In this way, he can understand their style and then help create an outstanding event that surpasses their expectations. Since moving to Asheville, he has added his considerable talents to a number of special area events, including hosting galas for the popular Asheville Area Arts Council “Color” Balls (Red, White, and Purple), the Asheville Film Festival, and exclusive events for both Biltmore Estate and Eblen charities.
In addition, Mark’s skills have been in demand for a number of high profile weddings, both locally and nationwide.
